There are many things that can help to decrease stress and improve overall wellbeing.  Here are a few ideas to get you started:

 

~ For every "bad" thing that happens, there is usually something "good" that comes out of it.  For example, losing a job could give you the opportunity to pursue an educational goal or the incentive to find a job you really enjoy.  Try to find the "good" part of your stress and focus on it.

~ Yes, you've heard it before, but exercise really is important.  The activity can help you release stress.  Even a walk around the block can improve your mood.

~ Take 10 minutes for yourself each day, close your eyes, and listen to music that you really enjoy.  Allowing your brain to focus on something other than worry and stress can renew your energy.
