When is the last time you were annoyed with your spouse, mother, brother, friend...?  Yes, as much as we value our loved ones, these are the people who can cause us stress because they're closest to us and know how to push our buttons.  To deal with relationship stress:


~ Remember that you cannot change any other individual.

~ It's OK to take a "time out" from the person or issue and come back to it later.

~ Do remember to address the concern when you are calm and clear headed.  The other person can only know what will be helpful to you if you are honest and specific when communicating your needs.
